The location for this position is open to any Wells Fargo SBA Credit or Closing Hub location Wells Fargo Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending division has an opportunity for a talented, highly motivated professional for the position of Regional Sales Manager to help us as we grow our National Franchise Lending Program business.
Wells Fargo SBA Lending is a part of the Business Banking Group.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Franchise Business Development Officers and Franchise SBA Bankers.
These team members have primary marketing and business development responsibility for marketing SBA loan programs to a select number of targeted national franchisors.
Management of the highly leveraged sales team will include developing strategies to originate SBA loans with select franchisors on a national basis, assigning specific franchise concepts to maximize market opportunity, identifying and growing the number of approved/targeted franchise concepts, and managing a regional budget with focus on SBA loan origination volume and interest rate spread.
A critical aspect of this job will be recruiting top quality, high performing sales professionals, as well as providing leadership to existing team members, in order to meet sales goals.
The Regional Sales Manager will be an integral part of building revenues and profitability and will serve as a key player on the Wells Fargo SBA Lending sales management team.
The position will also work closely with the credit and operations functions of WFSBA.

7+ years of financial services industry experience including a combination of 5+ years of sales or sales management experience and 3+ years SBA experience and/or business banking experience.
Proven success in recruiting, managing and leading a business loan origination sales team or a SBA credit team required.
Strong communication, organization and leadership skills are required to lead this team.
Proven ability to forge strong productive partnerships that create win-win situations for team members.
Preferred candidates have had experience in SBA loan products and have managed a group of SBA Business Development Officers or SBA Credit Underwriters.
Ability to travel is a must.
Highly prefer candidates with Franchise Lending experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
