Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of accredited school of nursing.
A Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Must be currently licensed in the state where the community is as a Registered Nurse.
Experience:
At least one year of experience working in long-term care preferred.
Knowledge and experience working with residents with Alzheimer's disease and/or related dementia highly desirable Supervisory
Experience:
One year of experience supervising others to include:
setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.
Other:
Ability to work as a team member with other Silverado Senior Living community leaders/department heads to develop quality assessment and improvement programs.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Must exhibit empathetic communication style with residents, families, and associates.
Experience in nursing systems and development of educational/in-service programs.
Clinical competency in standards of care for adult patients/residents with multiple chronic co-morbidities, including dementia.
Familiar with gero-psychiatric diagnosis and common treatment modalities.
Ability to utilize computer programs for communication needs and medical documentation purposes.
Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
May be asked to travel out of region for meetings and other assignments.
Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.
Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related disease.
Summary of Major Functions:
Directs and manages the health delivery systems within the Community to ensure optimum quality of care and quality of life for all residents.
Assists administration in the communication and assurance of adherence to all applicable regulations and policies and procedures.
Provides direct assessment and documentation of resident needs.
Hires, supervises and trains staff on health related duties and responsibilities.
Demonstrates an understanding of Silverado's Core Operating philosophy of LOVE>fear by actions of training, modeling behavior, assuring that all leaders in Nursing understand and model this philosophy.
Hours and shifts of duty may vary.
This position may require working varying hours and will likely include weekend and holiday duty.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
