Job Description:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Director.
The Children's Director will play a key role in leading and overseeing all aspects of our children's ministry program, working collaboratively with staff and volunteers to create meaningful and memorable experiences for children and families.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive children's ministry program that reflects the values and mission of Crossing Church North County.
Create engaging and age-appropriate curriculum that fosters spiritual growth and development in children.
Recruit, train, and empower a team of volunteers to serve in various capacities within the children's ministry program.
Plan and coordinate special events and activities, including Vacation Bible School, family nights, and outreach opportunities.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, volunteers, and staff members, providing support and guidance as needed.
Ensure the safety and security of all children by implementing and enforcing appropriate policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate children's ministry with other church programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in children's ministry or a related field.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Passion for working with children and helping them grow in their faith.
Commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the values and mission of Crossing Church North County.
Ability to pass a background check and comply with all safety and security requirements.
