We are looking for a Safety and Insurance Administrator who provides administrative support to the Safety Department and manages the administration of corporate and workers' compensation insurance programs, ensuring projects and tasks are completed on schedule, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

You enjoy gathering information and coordinating with multiple individuals to gather data and create real-time reporting to be presented to the management team, clients, and insurance brokers and carriers.

You can effectively juggle multiple assignments at a time, being pulled in multiple directions, and can prioritize matters as they arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
In the first 30 days and ongoing:
Learn Eleven Western Builders services, processes and procedures, and business lines & responsibilities.
Learn how to use Procore and other company software and systems to review and gather data.
Become familiar with the company's Safety Program and how to assemble jobsite packages and postings.
Become familiar with the statistical information tracked by the safety department.
Understand the insurance policies, claims processing procedures, and reporting requirements.
Provide jobsite clinic setupsMaintain company training logs and filesBuild positive working relationships with the Director of Safety, Director of Human Resources, Warehouse Manager, Field Superintendents, General Superintendents, Project Managers, and Leadership.
By the 90-day mark and ongoing:
Provide administrative support to the Director of SafetyCreate and Maintain Safety Department files, assist with the development and implementation of the Safety and Health Program, and other programs, protocols, forms, and documentsCreate training presentations Schedule and coordinate corporate safety meetings and training opportunitiesCreate and administer company safety newsletterWithin the 6th to 9th-month mark and ongoing:
Gather and maintain data to assist with the annual insurance renewal programProvide claims handling and follow-up on general liability, auto, and workers' compensation claims.
Maintain OSHA 300 log and distribute for postingPrepare safety prequalification information and documentationAssist with the company incentive programBy the 12th month mark and ongoing:
Is a fully integrated member of the team, able to consistently and proactively manage multiple responsibilities and projects from start to finish independently.
Provides insight and creative ideas to adapt and overcome obstacles in meeting and maintaining corporate safety goals.

EDUCATION, SKILLS &
Experience:
Intermediate to advanced computer skills working with various office equipment, computers, and various programs including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Able to perform and function independentlyAble to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsPrevious experience in administrative and/or insurance program administration preferredPrevious construction experience preferredBachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredWHO WE ARE:
