The Facilities Director will oversee the operations of Neighborhood Healthcare facilities, including maintenance, security, licensing, and safety protocols.
This role will work with the senior management to oversee all renovations and new construction projects to ensure financial accountability and compliance with the standards established by Neighborhood, regulatory agencies, and clients are maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities Manages the FMX ticketing software to ensure Neighborhood facilities are properly maintained, secured, and sanitary, including ensuing work orders are resolved in a timely manner Works with the Purchasing Department to negotiate and secure facilities related contracts, including janitorial, security alarm systems, landscaping, facilities related supplies, and other vendors, as needed Manages the department budget, including monitoring vendor invoices, expenses, and receivables to ensure accuracy Works with manager on strategic planning for facilities and the development of budgets related to facilities, including researching/recommending effective and/or cost saving improvements Participates in meetings and services on committees, such as the Emergency Preparedness and the Environment of Care and the Safety Committees Develops and communicates department priorities and timelines for site projects to staff Ensures the direct reports foster cooperation and respectful communication between staff and other Neighborhood staff, patients, and the public Operates to instill confidence in the care and in Neighborhood facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders Impacts patient experience by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy Shares accountability for overall patient health outcomes by working in coordination with care teams Supervision Recommends or make decisions to hire, transfer, and suspend layoff, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline Assesses training needs and promotes developmental activities and promotes mission and goals Conducts department meetings to promotes communication, assess/resolve needs, and foster teamwork Evaluates staff performance against job description criteria and competency assessments Provides guidance and coaching to develop the team to their highest potential Informs staff of organizational activities/programs Requirements Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare/engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Six years of facilities management experience required; experience within healthcare preferred.
Experience with electronic procurement, project management, and facilities work order softwares preferred.
Additional Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing and proofreading skills Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Knowledgeable about and experience with construction trades and maintenance systems Ability to assess individual and emergency situations in a cost-effective manner Ability to plan and prepare written instructions for projects and repairs Ability to obtain and assess cost estimates and compare cost/value Ability to supervise and motive teams Ability to function at highest level according to credentials and competencies Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent planning and organizational ability Excellent computer applications skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Work, and Excel Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner Neighborhood Healthcare requires employees to be fully vaccinated (including a booster dose) against COVID-19 and demonstrate proof of vaccination/booster upon hire or receive approval for an exemption based on a medical reason, disability, or religious belief.
Proof of booster dose will be contingent upon booster eligibility.
Salary range:
$146,831-$179,460 depending on experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
