A key initiative for this role will be to build, diversify, and grow the organization's donor base.
To do this successfully, the Director of Philanthropy must truly believe in the educational philosophy and model the mission, visions, and values of The Classical Academies.
This position will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that will grow philanthropic revenue and advance partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundation donors.
The Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for achieving The Classical Academies annual fundraising goals ($1 million in FY23), as well as developing and executing a longterm fundraising growth plan to exceed $2
million in the next several years.
This aggressive and attainable fundraising goal will be achieved through effective communication, both written and spoken, face-to-face meetings, and planned events and activities where donors are given special access and information related to our organization's goals and objectives.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
