The Training Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the Learning and Development Team manage, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Neighborhood Healthcare employees.
This role will work with the Director of Employee Experience and other departments to identify training needs, design, and implement training materials, and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
In addition, this role will help contribute to the professional growth and continuous improvement of the organization's workforce by improving the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.
Roles/Responsibilities Collaborates with department heads, subject matter experts, and leadership to identify training needs and develop training strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives Assists with designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs, including instructional materials, presentations, and interactive exercises Facilitates training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, such as lectures, group discussions, workshops, and multimedia presentations in person and via online meeting platforms Ensures that training content is engaging, interactive, and aligns with adult learning principles Coordinates the training programs and records, including calendar and logistics, engagement and attendance tracking, training activities, trainings scheduling for leaders and employees, and participant evaluations Ensures new leaders and other stakeholders receive resources, invitations, and updates related to leadership development activities Assists with managing training resources, including training materials, equipment, and technology platforms Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, including making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement Stays up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare and corporate trainings Collaborates with external vendors and subject matter experts to provide specialized training, as needed Assists with developing systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to trainings Provides ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce learning and facilitate skills development Works with instructional designer on creation of training assets and learning management system (LMS) support Collaborates with the HR department to develop and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new employees Partners with employee events and internal communications, as needed Requirements Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field preferred.
Three years of training specialist experience required; experience within the healthcare or non-profit environment preferred.
Experience developing and delivering training content in various formats (e.
g.
in-person, e-learning, and blended learning) required.
Relevant certifications in training and development preferred.
Additional Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing and proofreading skills Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Knowledgeable about and experience with instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and training evaluation techniques Knowledgeable about and experience with using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools Knowledgeable about and experience with healthcare industry regulations, compliance, and best practices Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to produce high quality training materials Excellent planning and organizational ability Excellent presentation and facilitation ability Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner Neighborhood Healthcare requires employees to be fully vaccinated (including a booster dose) against COVID-19 and demonstrate proof of vaccination/booster upon hire or receive approval for an exemption based on a medical reason, disability or religious belief.
Proof of booster dose will be contingent upon booster eligibility.
Pay range:
$30.
00 - $38.
00 per hour, depending on experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
