Hours & Part Time 20-25 Hours Cute Cake, a thriving coffee shop and cafe in Escondido, CA, is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Barista and Cafe Associate to join our team.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional coffee, food, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on coffee and food offerings Ensuring proper procedures are followed, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and knowledge Manage inventory and ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid waste Organize and maintain a clean and welcoming cafe environment, including the bar area and seating area Handle cash and credit card transactions and ensure accurate cash drawer balance at the end of each shift Learn our cafe offerings and be able to guide a customer through ordering breakfast or lunch
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a cafe or coffee shop environment, with knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation Passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service Excellent communication Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed 18 years or older must be able to serve alcohol Join our team at Cute Cakes and be a part of our vibrant and growing community.
